Using Gottman Method Couples Therapy, I help couples with a variety of issues. This type of therapy is based on extensive, longitudinal research with thousands of couples, done by Dr. John Gottman, Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman, and colleagues. It emphasizes the practical application of their discoveries in improving relationships for couples across the lifespan. I am one of only a few hundred Certified Gottman Therapists in the whole world!

I have been very interested in behavioral economics and the "psychology of money" for many years. Why do people make the money decisions that they do? Understanding this can lead to improved decision-making in the future. Financial therapy is a great fit for me, having master's degrees in both Community Counseling and in Consumer Science. I am a member of the Financial Therapy Association.

An experienced parent myself, I enjoy coaching parents on how to parent more effectively. I also love helping families members of all ages improve communication and learn how to get along with each other better!

As people go through stressful life situations, I am here to help with a listening, caring presence. Typical issues that I work with include relationship unhappiness, workplace stressors, and anxiety and other mental health challenges.
